Scholarships for Nigerian Students from the Nestle Nigeria Community: The 2023 Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship application process has begun. The goal of the scholarship is to provide enough money for all of its recipients to cover their education, housing, school supplies, and living expenses.

Nestle Nigeria Plc is excited to say that the second part of its community scholarship program has begun. This program is meant to help the young people in the communities where Nestle operates.

This program aims to give students who deserve it the chance to go to school by financially supporting them to reach their academic and personal goals.

About 109 kids from the areas around Nestle’s factories in Owode-Egba, Sagamu, Abaji, and Agbara are currently benefiting from the program.

When it started in 2020, this grant program was only open to people who lived near the company’s factories in Sagamu Interchange, Ogun State, and Abaji, the Federal Capital Territory.

Now, the community that will house the company’s third factory in Agbara, Ogun State, is part of it.

How to Apply for a Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship

To be qualified for the Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship, a person must meet the following requirements:

Scholarship for University Students

  • Students in their 100s who are enrolled in recognized universities and polytechnics and taking science and technology courses
  • Have 5 credits in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the WASSCE OR NECO SSCE level in one sitting, plus at least 200 points in the UTME/JAMB.

Senior Secondary Group

  • The following schools are eligible for the awards: Owode High School, Owode; Remo Secondary School, Sagamu; Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu; Remo Division High School, Sagamu; and Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu.
  • The awards are only for SS1 students in Science and Technical classes.
  • Have earned 5 credits on the BECE (JSS3) exams in certain courses, such as English, Basic Science, and Math.

This award is only for people living in Obafemi Owode, Sagamu, Agbara, Manderigi, and Abaji in the Federal Capital Territory or Ogun State.

  • Engineering: Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/ Metallurgical/ Process Engineering: Petroleum / Gas / Chemical Eng and others.
  • Agriculture and other related courses
  • Clinical and Medical Sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and other related courses.
